Welcome To Disco Stick.

In the same way our sister blog looks at pop music in a style and analysis that goes beyond: “This songs good.” “This song sucks.” (Vertigo Shtick) Disco Stick is diving into another area of music that at one point was only discovered through word of mouth, mix-tapes, clubs and raves. I want to take a moment and thank the Internet, blogging, twitter, facebook. and MP3 files. Our world has a high BPM (beat per minute) every second and contributes to the hyper speed electro, dance, pop and remixes we listen to today. The remix has the power to save a career, ruin it completely or take a glimpse at someone else’s creative vision of another’s vision. Most remixers I've found out go beyond being DJ's and are also talented music producers; "RedOne" is more than just a Lady GaGa lyric (he's the producer of "Just Dance", get it?).

At the end of the day: I hope that you can find at least one song that will make you move or feel a way you haven’t felt before. Inside the rave of the century in Miami, the weekly pornographic dance fight in Los Angeles, or bored and stoned on your computer.
In honor of Lady Gaga’s invention of the term “Disco Stick” (which is in-fact in urban dictionary.com: Disco Stick)

Let’s go with two version of LoveGame. First:
Lovegame (Robots to Mars Remix)- My first and so far only track remixed by Robots to Mars. I couldn't really find and don't know much about them (MySpace). The most obvious difference in this song is the exchange of the blaring bass and reverb for stripped down drum and guitar medley (still synthesized, no doubt). The mood of the song really allows you to focus on the passion of Gaga’s LoveGame. The hard crash on the synth-drum on “bust that click” does remind that when she wants to take a ride on your disco stick, she can and will do it. Robots to Mars adds flesh oxygen to a beat made in outer space. Could this be a good song to strip down and make a lovegame with your lover? I haven’t tried it but if someone does please comment.

Now let’s get complicated and stupid with:
“Lovegame (Party Rock Remix)” - Lady GaGa feat. LMFAO

LMFAO (MySpace) has established themselves as the wise cracking electro-pranksters who can stand on their own with “I’m In Miami, Bitch." I can remember a lot of times I don't remember dancing to "Shots." Plus they're featured with Fergie, Chris Willis in David Guetta's: "Gettin' Over You." LMFAO as remix artists are great at creating a dialogue, and give a male perspective and juxtaposition to the message of “just wanna touch you for a minute.” If Lady GaGa’s on a mission, Redfoo and Sky Blu know how to back each other with lines “I gotta get to know ya‘ before I bend you over” and “girls want my body, but never mind.” In comparison to the Robot To Mars Mix; Party Rock adds a man's job to a great woman's touch.
